We miss you! Come see us at the 2021 Blue Skies Virtual Music Festival: July 30th to August 1st .
For the safety of all our friends, the Blue Skies Music Festival 2021 on our beautiful site is cancelled. We will not be gathering in person this year.
Discord will be up and running, and the campfire jams and open stage performances will be available on Youtube. Keep checking the program for any additional information. It will be the Best Virtual Blue Skies Ever!
We will not be selling tickets to Blue Skies 2021. Instead, we are fundraising and accepting donations to support the musicians whose income has suffered from live venues being shut due to the pandemic. The Blue Skies organizers would like to make it abundantly clear that we understand how much of a negative financial impact the pandemic has had on us all. We are incredibly grateful for any donations you can spare, but want to stress how much we understand that not everyone is in a position to be able to donate. Please come watch the show and spread the joy with us either way.
Any funds in excess of what we need for Blue Skies Music Festival 2021 will be directed to the great work of Blue Skies in the Community and ongoing operating expenses.
You can take part in the Festival in many ways. Connect, share, chat, enjoy music together, even march in the parade – virtually. There will be Main Stage performances on the Saturday and Sunday nights of the August long weekend, and drum roll please … Magoo will be our MC!
Submissions for 2021 workshops are now closed, so stay tuned for information about this years workshops coming soon to this program website!

What is the Blue Skies Music Festival?
“A great party and a tight community, Blue Skies has also been known since the start as a bit of a musician’s festival. There’s a relaxed and informal atmosphere that allows performers, audience and organizers to ease back a bit and just enjoy. It’s the kind of place where you just might find yourself sitting around the campfire jamming with the musicians you just watched on stage, or doing a volunteer shift shoulder to shoulder with your musical hero.”
